BeaconHQ — AI Output Disclaimer

This AI Output Disclaimer explains the nature and limitations of the analysis produced by the BeaconHQ platform (the "Service") and the basis on which you may rely on it. It forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the BeaconHQ Terms of Service. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in those Terms.

1. What the Service does

BeaconHQ uses artificial intelligence, including large language models, to analyse contract documents you upload and to produce reports, identified clauses, risk classifications, suggested negotiation language and related content (the "Output"). The Service is a decision-support tool designed to help experienced construction professionals review contracts more efficiently. It is not a decision-maker, and it does not replace professional judgement or professional advice.

2. The Output is not professional advice

The Output is provided to assist your own commercial decision-making. It is not, and does not constitute, legal advice, contractual advice, professional advice, or a substitute for the independent judgement of a qualified solicitor, surveyor, or other professional adviser. No relationship of professional adviser and client arises between you and Aitronyx through your use of the Service. You should obtain qualified legal, commercial or technical advice where the matter warrants it, and in particular before entering into, varying or relying on any contract.

3. Inherent limitations of AI analysis

You acknowledge and agree that AI-generated analysis is inherently subject to limitations, including:

  • the possibility of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading analysis;
  • the mis-identification, mis-classification or omission of clauses, risks, obligations or commercial implications;
  • the inability to take into account facts, context, correspondence, drawings, programme information or commercial intent that are not contained within the document you upload;
  • variation in the quality and completeness of analysis between different contract families (for example JCT and NEC forms), document formats, scan quality, and drafting styles;
  • limitations in interpreting heavily amended, bespoke, or non-standard documents; and
  • the possibility that the Output reflects general patterns rather than the specific legal or factual position applicable to your matter.

The Service analyses only what is present in the document you provide. It cannot know the wider factual or project context, the conduct of the parties, side agreements, or anything not contained in the uploaded document.

4. Your responsibility

You remain solely responsible for all decisions you take in respect of any contract or document analysed by the Service. Before acting on any Output, you must exercise your own independent judgement and verify the Output against the underlying document and your own knowledge of the matter. You should not treat the Output as a complete or authoritative statement of the risks in a contract, nor as confirmation that a contract is free of risk.

5. No warranty as to Output

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aitronyx makes no warranty or representation that the Output is complete, accurate, current, reliable, fit for any particular purpose, or appropriate for any specific contract or set of facts. The Output is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

6. Sharing the Output

If you share Output with your own clients, advisers, or other third parties in the ordinary course of your business, you must not present it as anything other than AI-generated analysis produced by the BeaconHQ Service, and you remain responsible for your use of it. Any reliance on the Output by a third party to whom you provide it is a matter between you and that third party.

7. Relationship to the Terms of Service

This Disclaimer should be read together with the limitation of liability and warranty provisions in the Terms of Service (clauses 19 and 20). Those provisions, together with this Disclaimer, form a fundamental basis on which the Service is provided at its stated price. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Acceptance

By using the Service to generate Output, you confirm that you have read and understood this Disclaimer and that you accept the basis on which the Output is provided.
